As a passionate supporter of young people in the north east, Nicola was delighted to recently lend her support to National Careers Week
In her role as Enterprise Advisor at Durham Sixth Form Centre, Nicola went along to speak to the Year 12 business students to explain more about her career path, a day in the life of a marketer and the opportunities within the sector.
The questions, as always, were brilliant including ‘How do freelancers organise holidays?’, ‘How do you price jobs?’ and ‘Do you think it’s beneficial to go to University?’.
Following the visit, Nicola commented, ‘It’s always great to support the Sixth Form in their frequent campaigns and it was brilliant to see the interest from the students when chatting about marketing and personal branding. To pass on my knowledge to the next generation is something I’ll always be proud of and hopefully change some future careers too!’
